RMA

BECOME A RMA

REGISTERED MEDICATION AIDE

RMA’s duties entail providing routine daily medications, either prescription or non-prescription, to patients whose condition and drug regimen are stable. When not administering medications, RMAs carry out the same tasks as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). This includes taking and recording residents’ vital signs, documenting a resident’s health status, cleaning rooms and bed linens, basic first aid, helping with meals, and much more.
