NURSE AIDE (CNA)
CNA’s report important and often crucial resident condition information to our nurses. Other responsibilities may include taking and recording residents’ vital signs, documenting a resident’s health status, cleaning rooms and bed linens, basic first aid, helping with meals, and much more. While the CNA position may be physically and mentally demanding, it is an incredibly rewarding position because of the lasting relationships you will build with coworkers and patients.

PROGRAM DURATION
- 2 Day – Monday & Thursday for 12 weeks – 9:00AM to 4:30PM
- 4 Day – Monday through Friday for 8 weeks – 9:00AM to 2:00PM
- Evening – Tuesday & Thursday & Every Other Saturday for 12 weeks – Tues/Thurs 5:30PM to 10PM & Sat 9AM to 4:30PM
- Each program includes a total of 100 hours on location and 40 hours of clinical practicum
EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma or GED is required to enroll
- Must be able to read and write in English

Completing this course will prepare you to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) State Certification Examination, which is administered externally by the Virginia Board of Nursing. Upon passing this examination, you will be a fully licensed CNA.
